hey, ya I`m sure this GTA is fully loaded so it`s the heavest 3rd gen you could buy, but I don`t care I can`t wait to get this car
, got $1000 to go b4 it`s mine. I`d rather have an IROC though, but I do love the GTA`s, and I LOVE the low end on these 350 TPI`s, my 305 in the Zed dosen`t come alive till 3500-4000, this 350 TPI is there right off idle i LOVE it, god I can see myself going though alot of rear tires, I don`t have much self control when it comes to gas pedals it`s like a drug to me the smell of burnt rubber is one of my favrite smells

The 305 TPI/T5 cars with the G92 option got the good gears (3.42/3.45) and the L98 cam. They would run door to door with the L98 cars because the TPI intake was designed for the 305ci motors anyway. I read a huge artical about how TPI has a much better v/e on the LB9 then the L98. The gears and more efficient engine helped the 305TPI/T5/G92 cars run right with the L98 auto cars. In 2001 my 87 L98 IROC ran 14.61@93.55mph 100% stock with a 2.03 60foot at 900ft alt. It had 89,000 miles on it and was very well maintained. with free mods and headers it went 14.44@97.44mph with a 2.02 60 ft but the trans was starting to slip in the 3-4 shift. One of my good friends has a 92 B4C camaro with an L98. It only has an under drive pulley, adjustable fuel pressure regulator and free ram air and it went 14.16@97.31mph with a 2.05 60 foot. The L98 verys in 1/4 times ALOT. Another friend of mine has an 89 IROC with an L98 and his car only ran 15.1@92.xx mph. It just depends on the luck of the draw. Some run good, some dont. You will just have to run it and see what you have.
