I want to put my LT1 cam from my 1996 z28 into the TBI but I can't figure out how to get the roller lifters into the block. I mean how do I get the spider to bolt up so that the roller lifters don't twist? Thanks..

 

Wait a minute..is the 'peanut cam' in the TBI a roller cam?

It's the same setup as your LT1. There will be bosses in the lifter valley for the spider, and the lifters will fit in exactly the same way as they did on the LT1.
Yes, the peanut cam is a roller cam.
