Hood Louvers lifting at high speed

Hood Louvers lifting at high speed

My hood louvers tips are lifting at over 120 Mph , any ideas to keep them in place and not look like crap?

umm.. dont do a 120 mph... duh!!! i mean seriously.. WTF u going that fast for anyway well.. if u really must know.. the easit was it to take the louvers off.. get soem 3M red gasket maker *u can get ti @ autozone and crap.. and jsut put it where the holes r on the hood.. and put the louvers back on.. and press the louvers down kidna hard for a few misn.. then let them site for about an hour.. it aitn pretty.. but whos really going to look UNDER the louvers..

Well, sometimes Ricers need to be Hurt to understand not to mess with the best (Z28), and end 3 or 4 cars behind really do the job,

ok.. first.. if u have to race a ricer.. u might as well fight a retard.. 2nd.. only 3-4 car lengths?!?!?! do us a favor and stop being stupid while driving.. so what if a ricer revs at u.. jsut flip him off

if u cant beat em by the speed limit, your car aint fast enough. but to stop them lifting, make sure they're tied down - at 110mph at the end of the drag strip, my hood louvers are fine.... not that I ever pay much attention to em, but they are still there, so I'm assuming they're alright.

Just found that some nuts are missing, and screws broke.. I´ll try something to hold them down

Yeah those things get brittle n break off, so be careful removing the self threading nuts too cuz they tend to twist the plastic pins off the louvers, I have enough to hold mine on but im missing some also.

seriously dude do you how many ricers try and race me. its really not even worth my gas to race them i use 94 octane and that **** aint cheap. what are you trying to prove you have a camaro they dont you automatically won set your sights on mustangs and other things
