Question hood louver kit

An officer came up to me and started commenting on my car. We spoke for a while and he told me that there is a kit that i could use for my 85 iroc hood. where i can open up the louvers in the hood so that by flicking a switch the louvers would open and release some of the hot engine air...and i could close them when it rained. I thought this was kinda cool because it would be pretty functional, not to mention look great. Does anyone know if there is such a kit? and if so where I may get it?

I've never heard of a kit for the louvers for our style, however I have seen a custom job w/ the "power blister" style that someone opened them up and had it set up so that the water would not get to the engine

I think the 82 cross-fire injection hoods had some sort of functional vents towards the back of the hood

I'd be interested in this as well so if you do find out if what you are describing is available please let us know
