My electric fan only comes on when i turn the a.c on.So i started with the relay,still does not come on,now i just bought the fan switch,but i cant find it on the motor anywhere,and my haynes manual says nothing about it at all? does anyone where this switch is located on 84 Z28,and is their a fuse for the fan,because i didnt see one on the panal.PLEASE HELP

 

Most small block have it on the right side (pass) head.

 

Cody is right, should be between the #4 and #6 cylinders. Be careful when you're taking it out! Mine was hard to get out with a 2' breaker bar and the heads were on the ground out of the car! Spray some PBPlaster on it the night before then head at it the next day.

 

They are right it is on the passenger side head between the #6 and #8 plug. Also I have the haynes manual and experienced the same problem with finding that switch. This forum helped me find it.
