My '91 can only catch about 95mph in 3rd.

But it gets there real fast and then I still have 3 more gears to go.

Oh man. Imagine the looks on his friends faces when he rolls up in a Lingenfelter TT 427 C5

Are there any American cars that your friends own? Sounds like the people around here. All imports (all slow though, none of them can break 13 second 1/4) with the exception of a few

well, i've never got top speed, but she'll do 70 before swithcing gears into 3rd (high rev thought i think about 5,000 R.P.Ms) but she only catches in 2nd some times. i got it 2 120 with a little bit of R.P.M's 2 spare tried 2 get over drive 2 kick in (didnt know how 2 then) but i found out the pedal can only ve 2/3's pressed for O/D 2 switch in. I'd LOVE 2 get a 6-speed for her. but im about 2 get a engine transplant. it'll be either a built 305, or 350. wither way it'll have about 300-340 H.P then i plan on new pinion gears for better go, then rims, paint, and last but not least final inter. restoration. but for now im just goin 2 go with the engine transplant. and what really weird, my oil gauge doesnt work, due 2 sensor. and i tried 2 get a new one but thet dont fit. woner if it has a different engine then stock... i'll have 2 look 2morrow....hummm.

Wow.. she is pushin a lil' bit o' power lol.. (that S/C C5!)
What ya mean 2/3's pushed in for o/d? Ya mean 5-gear, rite?
There is a "special" way to get o/d to kick in?

an yes, in order for o/d to kick in the pedal must be pressed a max of 2/3's way down. the LG4 does not have enought power for it 2 go into O/D at 120 M.P.H if anything it would have made me lose power.

The Lingenfelter C5 TT can do 0-60 in 1.9 seconds. I think it has 720 HP. They did a Motortrend thing on it versus a F-14 or F-18 plane, on acceleration and speed and ****, you can find it @ www.turbocharged.ca I think the whole thing runs around 120,000 dollars
