Here We Go...350/305heads/.030/10/10 Turn/elgin Rv923p Cam,
So,
here we go from fouled (FOWALD? spelling any1?) plugs to idling car little rough to computer sunday for data logging and i need iac counts she runs rich.
i neeD guidelines for what to look for with my voltage on TPS at idle and WOT, my iac counts and the TUNER
ED WRIGHT
wants BLM's
and MAF'S
HERE IS THE .....
what is my best data log for this beautiful new IROC I GOT GOING
THANKS FOR THE TUUUUUNING ADVICE!!!!!!!!!!!!WEEEEEEEEEEEE! :alert
LOTS A FUN!

Re: Here We Go...350/305heads/.030/10/10 Turn/elgin Rv923p Cam,
well she went on computer saturday and the TPS voltage was .78 and we recalibrated it to .55v and the iac was reading 0.
here comes the guess work....the car has a surging rpm.
i swear the mechanics just guess like me, so i thought the problem was in this area the iac did read like 52 1 time but 0 alot also, so i guess it is bad and i should replace it.
the TPS seems to have a skip in it after resetting voltage so i guess i will replace that.
than maybe i will be ready for datalogging. since she dumps way to much fuel at startup. i put 24lb/hr injectors in her. i know people are running these so i am guessing my tuner ed wright can give me a better chip with datalogging info.
so my idea is as follows....the datarecorder has a button i hit to capture so i will just hit hit as fast as a i can for like a minute or two at each rpm range, idle 500-700, 1200, 1700, 2500 etc....
give the info to ed wright and see if i get her going right.
any other sensors i should look at?
thanks for advice.
1 piece of advice i got yesterday was to go back to 22lb/hr injectors, i dont think i have to unless my engine mod is not agressive enough. i dont know if after getting new chip and she is still too rich i will have 2 but i hope not.

Re: Here We Go...350/305heads/.030/10/10 Turn/elgin Rv923p Cam,
typical
what i thought was not,
regarding my surging rpm
i disconnected my iac and still got it, started looking around for a hose leak, found 1... plugged it and the problem seems to be gone, 750 idle for most part. a little time driving her and i will know if that was it.
still got the big startup problem but if i nailed the rpm problem things are on the up side!
