Help! What goes here!?

Call me stupid, but I cant figure out what goes here....Im smart enough to know its some kind of vaccum valve or trigger..but I cant seem to figure it out...Im going to be putting this into my 84 camaro 60 degree 2.8 and i need to know what goes in that spot...

It's prob. for smog control parts.

the intake came off of a 1985 Chevy 2.8 engine. The part thats missing doesnt seem like its important....probably something I can just plug up....but I dont know how ill be able to plug it up.

It's your EGR port. You need it.

Plug it with an EGR, would that not make sence?

haha good call. if you have to be emissions compliant you need to put an EGR valve there (dont forget the gasket) and hook it up to your emissions junk. otherwise you could just put the EGR there without hooking it up or get/make a blockoff plate (use a gasket in this case also, dont want a vacuum leak)
