Help me choose springs!!

Hey guyz, this summer i am running 17" wheels along with 275/40x17's all around, however i need to get rid of my wheel gap, if you look at my pix in my sig you can see the gap i have with my iroc wheels which springs do you recommend buying to take that gap out?

I have BMR Lower Control Arms w/ Relocation Brackets already so thats no problem, i do drag race for fun so i dont want a Low Rider or anything, just looking for that mean stance...

Thankx,
Mike

Mike,

I have the Eibach "Pro Kit"...and it works well. With the LT1, no A/C stuff, no emmisions stuff, etc, etc...the front end still sat up pretty high even after the springs were installed up front. To take care of that, the springs were heated in order to lower it further.

The fender lips are now about an inch above the tire/wheel (17" ZR1s) and it rides/looks nice.

With the 17" wheels the pro kit is still an inch above the tire? Hmm.. Not sure i like that, i saw a couple random pix of iroc's on the web and the stance was awesome, the fender lip was the exact height of the tire, it looked good, however maybe the pro-kit is what i'm looking for, i'll have to do some more research on springs..

Hmm hard decision, i just found a couple more irocs with the Pro-kit and they sit perfect, and then i found a couple with them that still look high..

Joe, the third Iroc (Z06), that one is too low, i dont like that look, i guess i'm kinda looking for almost like a Pit Bull like stance, lower than stock with big tread underneath, i hate the low rider look, but stock sits too high.. I'm gonna look into the Pro-kit a bit more still..

IROCbeerbeer: Your car looks nice, I like the way it sits but all the other SportLines i've seen are lower than what i'm looking for, maybe i'm looking for an InBetweener, however i'm alittle afraid to cut the Springs, maybe thats my only option, buy the Pro-kit and chop them until i like it..

These are 16"s (the 17"s fill it more, obviously) but you're telling me that an inch is TOO high, up front??

Much less than an inch, and you'll have tire rub like crazy.

Oh, and you don't cut your springs...that's the way ricers do stuff.

Actually that looks perfect Eric, I don't know what i was thinking, I guess i was thinking mine was an inch above the tire already.. Well i've ben reading about other guys that have done springs and about 75% of them are saying they cut the springs, my dad would kill me if i cut springs, haha hes always saying you dont do that, but like i said everybody else is saying they had to cut them.. I trust you though Eric, if your car looks that good and you say Eibach Pro-kit, than thats the final answer for me!! I like that pic alot!
