Okay they say there are 3-piece louvers & 1-piece louvers right?

Well mine are metal in the middle & plastic on the outside,they lift as one piece...so are they three pieces or one?! I'm TOTALLY lost on all this louver business!

Ooh & someone told me (dunno if it was this board or not) that they spray painted their louvers & they look good as new. Well does it really work? Will it Eff them up in any way?!
