Headers for My Application

I need some advice on headers. I currently have the SLP 1 3/4 headers, but they will not fit on the AFR heads I just bought that have angled plugs.

There is a stipulation however.. I would prefer longtube headers, but would take whatever I can get. They MUST fit with a 6 speed setup. I've heard there is some clearance issues on like the hedmans longtubes and what not. I am going to sell the SLP 1 3/4 to pay for the new ones. After selling them I might have like $300-$400 in my budget.. tops

BTW: I had a friend offer to trade me his hooker supercomps for mine, will they fit?

Thanks,

Can you return the heads for straight plugs?

I will check up for you but I think I have angled plugs and SLP 1 3/4 headers. Refresh my memory, what is the difference between straight and angled?

They are used heads. No returning them. The plug interferes with one of the primaries on the passenger side. I put a hooker super comp on the drivers side and it fit. However, the one that wasn't clearing hasn't been put on yet.. but it appears as though it might work. Wish me luck

Peace,

I do have angled ones and they seem like a tough fit but they do fit eventually.
