Does anyone that has done the 700r4 to 350th trans swap know if the kit you buy from summit/jegs can be used with a 350 with the longer 9inch shaft(so i wont have to get a new driveline). im thinking there might be a problem depending on where that torque arm bracket bolts to on the trans??

 

Yea, I don`t think the tail shaft length would make a difference, the mount bolts to the trans where the tail attaches so the length should`nt matter. You will need a custom driveshaft though, if you use a 3 inch tail th350 you can use a stock 200 metric drive shaft, that might be hard to find nowadays though...they only came with that trans till like 84 or something

 

cool as long as it bolts on where the tail attaches it should be fine and my driveline should work becuase i am going to use a longer tailshaft. thanks
