Hooker, Heddman, (new) Edelbrock, FlowTech, SLP ... 1-5/8" primary shorty headers. These cost around $350-$400. Or you could get PAW or Pacesetter 1-1/2" primary headers for $250 (including the Y-Pipe) if you are not going too radical. But if you plan on a 350, I'd go with 1-5/8". SLP has 1-3/4" headers, but I'd recommend that if you are going all out (built 350+, heads, cam, SR or aftermarket TPI, etc ...).

Hey, you're in California ... So-Cal? If so check out www.thirdgen.org , also stop by the So-Cal forum under the regional section. We have alot of member that can help. We also have a club dedicated to 3rd gens only (see sig for SC3G).

Hey you can get most of those headers through SUMMITRacing or Jegs or even Thunderracing. any of those you can get off of their internet websites.

OK I dont know how many times I have told GUYS this. The camaros are GREAT for families.

My husband & I own 3 camaros & have 2 kids. My daughter is now 4yrs old & loves riding in the back of the camaros with the t-tops off & wind blowing in her hair.

The Back seats are perfect fit for car seats. as long as you dont have a family of 5 they are good family cars. Just if you have leather seats dont allow the kids to have any food or drinks in the car.

My two kids know how well the camaros are suppost to look after they are riding in them.

Of course we do have a Family car lol its a 2000 Grand Prix Daytona PACE Car lol

& then we have our truck.

We meet personally and talk via the internet. We get together every once in a while (about once a month). You don't need to have an asphault ripping car to join. We have some cars that are bone stock. To name a few:
1989 GTA, 350 auto Convertible with no mods, low miles
1989 IROC-Z, 305 (G92) T5 showroom stock with a flowmaster only, has just over 17,000 miles in immaculate condition.
1989 Turbo Trans Am, Showroom stock (also flowmaster muffler) with about 25,000 miles in immaculate condition.
We even have a stock V6 Camaro and stock V8 Firebird, both driven by females.

As for links, krazzycowgirl took care of that.

A few things I'd like to add. STAY AWAY from brands like Pacesetter and FlowTech. They are junk!

Also, don't buy the headers designed for the LG4 or later TBI cars. Get the headers for the later 305/350TPI cars. They bolt right up, but have larger y-pipes and collectors that the LG4 desperately needs.

That is a BIG problem ... some look very sexy and can cause us guys to hit something, due to being distracted. So long as they are enthusiasts (male or female).
