Header Question
Header Question
I was looking at my headers today, and one side there is a crack that looks like the header flange is completely cracked in half right in the middle, but that side doesn't have a header leak at all...but the other side also has a crack, but its small, but it does have a header leak, and when you rev it up past 3 grand, it sounds like it backfires....i'm gonna try to tighten these things tomorrow to see if i can get rid of the exhaust leak......but if that doesn't work, i'm gonna have to buy new headers, and my question is, which headers do i get, ones made for a corvette since i got a corvette engine, or the ones made for 3rd gen camaro's?
Ive got some 1 5/8 SLP's. No complaints. But im swapping to LT's soon. You will want ones that are made for the third gen F-body. Corvette engine, Nova engine, gen I chevy small blocks are gen I small blocks. Its the chassis they are talking about when they say "for Corvetts, for third gen F-bodies, etc."
