header pipes
i bought edelbrock TES headers for my 305. i've been running with them for about 3 months and lately it has been running VERY fuel rich. i brought it to a shop to get the brand new carb adjusted, but he told me it was the oxygen sensor that wasnt getting hot enough. it was telling the computer to turn on the choke. should i just get a new stock oxygen sensor or do they make one for headers. thanks.
I'm running edelbrock headers on my 305 and it runs fine.
If that is the case you can but a heated O2 sensor like the vettes use. All you have to do is set up a ground and an ignition power wire so that the sensor is only on when the car is on.
BTW... Welcome to the board!
