Question Header clearance?

Is anybody running longtubes with a T-56? I got a good deal lined up for a set of Heddman's but the guy says they won't work with anything but a TH350 or 700-R4. I think he doesn't have a clue. Opinions? Anyone?

EDIT: I know I'll lose ground clearance...I'm talking about problems with the clutch hydros sitting on the header or something.

Well this dude got his info from Summit and their website says TH350 and 700-R4 only.....not even the T-5. I don't see how it makes a difference though...

Hmmm, this really catches my interest. I am also running a t-56 conversion and was going to change from shorties to long tubes. As far as hydraulics are concerned I would think that they would not be a factor because the line is not routed that close to were the header would be. I would also think that T-56 exhaust clearences would not even be an issue in the minds of summit or whoever because it is not an original option tranny. If anybody can kill two birds on this question that would be great.

My point exactly Blown.....they say it won't work with the T-5 but does that go for the T-56 as well? I'm about ready to just try it and find out.
