Have someone rev the engine while you watch it, if it's pluged it will swell-up when reved. If it doesn't swell it's probably good, but may be burnt out from the rich fuel.

A good way to check if it is still good, is to get a pyrometer and check the inlet temperature, and the outlet temp at the Cat. the outlet temp should be higher
