Question Got head casting #, what do you think?

The right side was leaking a lot of oil so I fixed it and when I did I got the casting #.
14014416,
80'-86' 305 , 1.84''/1.5'' 58cc
I dont have the block # but those heads and cc volume make it about a 99% chance its a 305 block.
Are they any good for any thing bigger (displacement and/or big cam wise) than a 305?
They sound like ok heads.
Any one know what I could do with them as stock, as far as puting 1.6 rockers or a bigger cam in with them and maybe even porting?
Do they have any horse power potential?

Those were some of the better 305 heads used in late '70s to early '80s F-bodies. They were used on LG4s and L69s and have very good potential (for a 305 head). I wouldn't recommend them for a bigger engine though. You can do to these heads what can (and is needed to be) done to all SBC heads.

In stock form they can handle about .460 lift. They can be made into better flowing heads than Vortecs for about $400 US--a steal by anyone's standard!
