Ah.. what about these headers with this catback? From Jegs. com

If ya think this setup will work, create (at minimum) "decent" hp, and sound nice.. then I "MIGHT" have my mind made up about my exhaust.. lol

those flowtech headers are a nice unit...and decent price...but you still have to figure out something for a Ypipe

looks like those use the stock one...which will still be a nasty restriction

I "would" go w/ Hooker, and even Edelbrock an ****.. but I am only 16, and don't have a grand to spend on a pair of damned headers.. lol.
What is GMMG?
And I would need (unless I use the stock one, rite?) to buy/build a diff. Y-pipe for better flow, rite?

yeah from the looks of those headers you will need to buy/build a ypipe.

there are several available on the aftermarket that bolt to stock manifolds, and since those headers look like they bolt to stock y-pipe they should be compatable.

i know hooker sells one, i think it's $200 though.

look around

try the 3rd gen section of www.thunderracing.com or www.tbyrne.com

Ok.. confused again. Where is the Y-pipe? Before the Headers, or right before the Cat?
How would I build a Y-Pipe?
Thanks,
Matt

from the looks of it you'd want pn=28-30000

that is the headers, with emissions connections, and it comes with the ypipe (visible in this picture connecting each header together)

the ypipe connects the two banks of the engine and merges it into one pipe, which is where the cat goes..then the cat back attaches from the cat to the muffler etc.

to build a ypipe you'd probably have to have a shop do it. cause it requires bending, welding and things like that.
