i was just reading the mag and on the last page they have the readers rides page. there is a 92 z-28 that runs 12.83 @ 105.4! anyone he goes on to say that he thinks he has the fastest l98 in the country. and the magazine author asks that if anyone has a faster ( i believe all motor) l98 to drop them a line! just thought i would pass this on. have a good one

 

Fastest with what? Stock intake? 12.83 isnt that quick of time now a days. I would hope for the sake of thirdgens everywhere that someone has beat that time with the L98. Hell I could probably search on here or thirdgen.org and find someone quicker than that with an L98. There has to be some kind of rules hes playing by/setting for that challenge.

not sure on how to take that, but i believe ur right that someone on here has one faster that is kinda y i thought i would post this

 

Ya im wondering what qualifies as an L98. If it has siamised runners and a ported to hell tpi is that still an L98. Or does it have to be a straight out factory tpi? Probably all a matter of wording, and i do believe the general rule that no matter what they have someone has something faster.

 

Chevy High Performance built a 350 L98 that ran 12.3....

 

ill bet this guy owned a civic before the Z28 and when he had an intake and fart pipe he thought he had the fastest import in the country...
