Fuel line fittings + adapters ?!?!?!
I'm kind of in a bind here. When I did the fuel lines for my LT1 I used some quick-release adapters on the fuel rails that let me use AN fittings and lines. The return line connects fine to the factory Saginaw end on the hard line in the engine bay.
But for the fuel feed I had to cut the factory rubber line after the hard line and adapt that to the rest of the AN and braided line. For now it does the trick, but I want to eliminate the jury-rigged section there.
Does anyone know where I can get female/female Saginaw to AN fittings?
This one little thing is surprisingly HARD to find. Jeg's and Summit don't even know what I'm talking about and ANplumbing.com .....although they have the right parts do not ever respond to their e-mail and the phone line is alternately busy for 3 days or unanswered. I think they are out of business perhaps?
Anyway.... where can I find these fittings? -6 OR -8 AN will work for me, but I need the right female end to work with the factory malke piece.

where are you trying to conn. the line at? just off the fuel rail, or at the back of the car, to the fuel sender lines?
either way, I made a complete fuell sys. for a ramjet i installed in a ffriends monte carlo. I used a tube nut on the fuel sender pipe which conn.s to a male to male AN adapter. the other side of the adapter conn.s to the braided line.
all you gotta do is cut the pipe somewhere, slip on the tube nut and jam/crush sleeve, then single flare the end that will now mate w/a -6 male AN fitting.
or, you could go w/a adapter right out of the fuel filter. earls sells them. they are called metric feul/power strg. fittings that have the oring on one side to thread into the fuel filter, the other side is a basic pipe thread that you get a female AN adapter to -6 malefitting. I dont have the part # for it, but if you look in the earls catalog, there's a section for special fittings. this one is 16mm, not the 18mm one. it about $20 if i remember correctly. hope this helps. chris

Yup Earls got em. Anplumbing corp has em as well. The good thing about ANplumbing corp is that they can make you anyhting you ask them to, including the fitting your looking for. Now you see why their phone lines are constantly tied up?

Paul, I'll be there Saturday.... probably with Karen too. Can't stay forever though, we got double invitations for saturday and the 2nd one is "B4" Big Biker Beer Bash out in East Hampton. Helps to be friends with a guy named "Mongo" who can lift a 650lb gun safe.... Anyway, don't know why I'm putting this here, I'll see you at Kahoots for lunch... too bad there are no smily faces with bouncing ta-tas

Yeah, I know I can flare the line. But I really don't want to. I know it will hold, since that is what my buddy Mark did with his. But I don't want to chop up the lines if I don't have to. I have about two weeks before all the final parts come together via UPS. So I have time to look for alternatives for now.
