So I am changing the front springs on my car (again) and installing some suspension technicques lowering units. Problem is, how do you index the spring in the lower control arm? I can't see any stop to locate the bottom. Any ideas?? Been a while since I did this, and just can't seem to remember the last time.

 

There is a hole in the pocket for the spring that has a little more of a dip in it that is where the end of the last coil should reside. I forget exactly where it is supposed to be in regards to the direction the spring should point, but if you do a search on the suspension board at thirdgen.org you should be able to find some pics of this as I know I have seen this exact question come up.
