Front panels missaligned.

I have an 87 Z28 and the people who owned my car before me put a berlinetta front end on it because the original was messed up. The fenders just arent right on it :/ the drivers side doesnt seem to sit down low enough which causes the hood to pop up a bit, the other side seems as if the front is up a lil big. When you are in the car you can see the hood is warping a tad. Anyways, do you guys think this car was in an accident and the car was twisted or should i just keep messing with it to get the to line up right?

Another question, the car has no t-tops and i HATE it, perfect interior, so i was wondering..this is a LG4 car, how hard would it be to swap the drivetrain into another car with a better body and T-TOPS? Could I use everything from my car to make it all work?

first off the car was prbably hit in the front and they just had a berlinetta nose put on. depending how hard it was hit means if your quarter panels are out of whack.
try adjusting the hood stop heights to get them to line up.if you curious about how hard it was hit, take the nose off... its about 36 bolts going underneath the bumper to the ground effect rad air deflector, up inside the thin part of the quarter panel, and under the intake. then check out the rebar and metal bumper. the paint will have flaked off and rusted around any are that was hit. crap. i forgot to paint over mine. i bumped a pole last year.

and yes you could swap the drivetrain into a car with t tops.
you could find a v6 ttopped car cheap with a straight frame (cause it was a 6) and swap all the v8 stuff into it.

That's not to bad if that is what you want to do,but why the new nose is the nose that is on there bad,or do you just want to change it back? What about alinment is it ok,have them check it out from front to back to make sure it is still square if it is not square dump it.

Sounds good to me, but then again throwing $5000 into my car engine, paint, etc in the past year makes that look like chump change to me.. but its ironic because i now have NO MONEY and i am going for an interview today.
