Front End Issues....Need Estimate on parts

ok i went to get my steering aligned because its really off, when i went to pick my car up they had a list of new parts that i need.
They Recomend: *Inner & Outer Tie Rod Ends *Drag Link Link Kits *Lower Ball Joints *Front Struts * 2 Front Tires.

Any one have an estimate on all these parts besides the tires? They told me $1,000 for parts and labor. i have a mechanic to do it so i just need the parts.

You could rebuild the entire suspention better than factory for that price
You might want to get a good set of shocks and struts to help a little with handling if price isn't a big issue. Tires will run anywhere from $40 each (blowout specials) to $400 each, the average driver would probably be happy with somthing around $100 each.

Yeah, cant go wrong with a set of good struts. Luckily enough the F-body's hard rear end lets for like, zero body roll...heh heh...ever try doin a right angle turn at 45 mph in a ford taurus?

Re: Front End Issues....Need Estimate on parts

You should look into a front-end rebuild kit from PST...www.p-s-t.com

Most kits include:

2 Upper Ball Joints
2 Lower Ball Joints
2 Outer Tie Rod Ends
4 POLYGRAPHITE® Upper Inner Control Arm Bushings
2 or 4 POLYGRAPHITE® Lower Inner Control Arm Bushings
2 POLYGRAPHITE® Strut Rod Bushings (if required)
2 POLYGRAPHITE® Stabilizer Links
2 POLYGRAPHITE® Sway Bar Bushings
Control Arm Bumpers (for most models)

All for $159

Yes. That's why my way is cheaper. Ball joints and tie rods are not a performance item. If you replace bushings, then look at PST.....

I don't see why you would need a new drag link. Check yours first before you buy a new one.

If the rest of the front end is that shot, I'd be really surprised if he didn't need new bushings. Besides....if your gonna pull it apart, might as well put it back together with better parts.

And yes, the drag link and struts would not be included.
