Flex fan or dual electrics?

Hey, I was thinking about getting rid of my stock fan on my '83 Z because I know that it robs alot of power. The fan is the original factory fan with a fluid clutch. I was wondering if it would be worth it to put a flex fan in, or if it would be better to just go with dual electric fans.

The only problem I would see with the electrics would be overloading my alternator since I'm running underbody neons aftermarket fog lights and two amps. Would a 140 amp alternator fix this problem?

thanks

I would go with electric if possible, add up the total amps you are drawing plus what the fans draw,if under 140 the the bigger altennator should handle everything fine. I would only go with a flex fan if that was only way.

I doubt it will overload you alternator. They don't draw that much power and you aren't having both of them on all the time anyways, are you?
