what about the doors? do these cars share any panels or are the bodies completely unique?

the doors are the only body pannels that are the same,and the glass.

funina91ss is correct. The firebird fenders are longer and the 1/4 panel are different for the taillights.

I saw a trans am w/a Z28 front end on it in a mag before. it looked sweet. but they used all the Z28 stuff up front. as a complete assembly they are interchangable, but not individually.

It would not be worth the trouble unless you wanted to do the conversion to do it. What is the issue that you are trying to overcome?

i prefer the more subtle fierbird fender flares over the somewhat oval looking camaro flares
