Question 90 FB 3.1L 700R4 Tranny Q

Just wondering if anyone would know off hand if there is a drain plug for the torque converter on her 90 FB?
it is a 700r4 and i have done tranny filter servicing on it, but was just wondering if there was a drain plug for the torque converter?

i would like to drain that the next time i do the tranny filter.

thanks

99% of factory converters don't have drain plugs so the only way to empty it is a complete flush or to remove it.

If you see one on the 700R4, it is definately an aftermarket one. I have never seen a stock TC have a drain plug. I would drop the pan, change the filter and then do a flush. After that, flush every 20000 miles and on the third flush time, change the filter.

ok thanks
i usually make an attempt to change the filter and clean the pan every year,
i'll bring it to Jiffy lube so the can use the machine to flush the tranny
