Don't forget to order the new speedo gears for in the tail stock of the tranny, going from 2.73 to 3.73 is a big jump the old speedo will be spinning it's guts out and you won't be going anywhere.
I know when I took the 2.77 out and put a 3.73 in my Iroc it would show like 110 to do 65 on the highway, you will need to change the Shaft gear as well as the Cable gear, and order the metal clip for the shaft gear, cause if you don't it will break, then you will be hunting for one, cause you need it to lock the gear in place on the output shaft.
It's real easy just go to the Dealer or a good Tranny shop, look up the tranny model, the rear ratio, and the tire size and then you can match up the right speedo gear combo.
