I was wondering if you guy's know where I can pick up the front two fenders for a 86 Iroc. Are the fenders the same for all third gen. camaros? Are they very difficult to replace?

 

i believe there are two different types of fenders for 3rd gen camaros
from 82 till i think 85, there were no seperate ground effects, the "front spoiler" and related body molds were built into the fender and bumper
86through 92 use the same fenders and bumpers, but as everyone knows 91-92 has air channels on the ground effects, so i believe u could use any fender between 86 and 92

I am not sure what other forum would be better than this one. It's third gen specifc, just not engine related. Thanks respectirocz for the info, that is the kind of stuff I was looking for.

 

The drivers side fender that's on my 88 came off a car that was definatly a pre 86 z28. Anyway replacing the fender on a thirdgen is pretty easy, pull the hood off (mark it's location on the hingers to make it easy to reinstall) undo the 10mm bolts on the top, the 13mm bolt on the bottom near the door, the plastic clips that hold the inner fender on, gound effects if you have them and the 10mm nuts under the bumper cover.
