fan temp

Can Anyone Tell Me At What Temp. The Electric Fan Comes On, And Goes Off, I Have A 1992 Rs Camaro 305 Cid. It Seems The Fan Comes On When The Gauge Reaches 255 Degrees Is This The Normal Temp, Help.

probably 235 then, look in the passenger side head, between the rear 2 cylinders, if there is a sensor there, then it is 235


if you want to lower it, get a fan switch from your local parts store for a 87 buick regal t-type, vin 7 IIRC, witchever the turbo car is, the switch for those triped and ~210

in mine...(86 IROC w/ 305 TPI) the prev owner installed a kill switch for the electric fan..so now i can turn it on and off at will...and i dont have to worry about it not turnin on...like my brother did w/ his firebird
