It could possibly cause some fuel dillusion of the oil, but I think it'd have to be a little cooler than that. You should smell the oil if you suspect it, if you smell fuel badly, you've got a problem. Also if the engine doesn't reach operating temperaure the clearances in the motor will be "loose" and oil pressure can drop and damage could occur from both.
What we forget is that "Heat is power". It atomizes the fuel and aid compression somewhat by expanding gases. But too much can cause the fuel to ignite before the plug fires, then the explosion slams into the piston and slows it down. Then the ECM sees it and retards the timing and power is hurt twice.
So running cooler will reduce detenation and allow more spark advance and rpm w/o overheating.

my friend gave me this brand new fan switch. it looks alot differnt then the ones I've seen. There is a square relay, some wire and connectors. a wire with a fuse and there is a round black thing with a spring wrapping around it and two wires comming out of it. there is no instructions and I have no clue how to hook it up. He got it with a MR gasket fan and it says perma cool on it.
thanks!
