Question Factory Oil cooler questons

Got a quick question for those of you with a factory oil cooler.

1 where do the hoses route to on the engine? I am sure one goes to the block in front of the oil filter adapter but what about the other?

2 does any one have any diagrams with part numbers for the hoses?

TIA
Chris

Last time I looked, I believe both coolant hoses go into the oil filter adapter on my car; coolant in, coolant out.

Yeah, the oil doesn't flow to a cooler. Engine coolant is circulated through a "sandwich" style oil cooler between the filter and the block. There are several hard lines and short pieces of rubber hose that carry the coolant from the heater hose return line on the pass. side inner fender area to the cooler by the oil filter and then back to the heater hose return nipple on the radiator. Don't know part numbers for the hard lines but the short pieces of rubber hose are just standard heater hose.

I'm sorry I needed to clarify that I knew there was no oil going through the lines. I am trying to find out where they route and connect to on the F-body.
Thanks

My last post was maybe not so clear. The water flows to the cooler from the front end of the metal heater core return line which is bolted to the pass. side frame rail next to the engine. Makes a 90* turn just shy of the front of the engine and goes underneath and behind the banacer, makes another 90* turn and goes back to the oil cooler "sandwich" on top of the oil filter. Return line traces back the same path to almost where it started and then makes a 90* bend and goes forward to the heater hose nipple on the pas. side of the radiator.

The hard lines (2, feed and return, held together with small spacers welded to the 2 pipes at regular intervals) go almost from the from the frame rails back to within about 6" of the oil cooler "sandwich." The ends are just regular heater hose, ecscpt at the 90* bends near the frame rail where they are molded hoses with the 90* bend molded in.

I understand now. I have also been looking at a L98 setup from a Vette. I found that one line goes to the left block drain and the other goes up by the heater hoses some place.

thanks for the info
