whats the biggest engine you've seen in a third gen

 

believe it or not i saw a 750 something in a magazine, obviously a darg car........but that would be one hell of a street machine huh? think it ran like an 8sec 1/4 or something, but i dont member for sure, has been a while

Size->I think most big blocks are the same so 454, 572, etc.

 

It's not unusual to see 650cid and 707 cid Pat Musi Nitrous engines in a thirdgen car when you get out to some of the NMCA/NSCA race events.

They move pretty good...and with the added 500-1000HP worth of nitrous added into the mix most of the time...

Makes a grown man weep!

 

theres nothin like a big block 3rd gen on steroids runnin on open headers at the strip........gotta love it

 

I don't know about a 3rd gen, but a friend of mine has a 632 in a 63 tube chasis Corvette that that moves pretty good. 7.41 in the 1/4 on the motor. Should do 6.90 on the bottle.
