engine swap question

hey guys whats up? im new to the forum but not new to f-bodies (my first car was a '75 Camaro). i just bought an '84 Z28 and have some ???'s. first off, my car has the little boat-anchor 305 w/ carb. i'm planning on putting the engine from my Corvette in it's place. said engine is an '89 L-98 with ported alum. heads and TPI. i know that a different and less powerful iteration of this engine found it's way under the hood of later year Camaros. what mods to the Camaro will i need to make in order for this swap to go down? (i am putting a Super Ram equipped much modded engine in my Corvette) what suspension mods do i have to do? any help from those who have done this or something similar would be appreciated. thanks in advance.

Re: engine swap question

You will need an ECM and wiring harness for TPI to make it work. Your old vette computer should work if you are not using it for your super ram. You may need subframe connectors for that engine chassis wise. As far as suspension, stock will work but upgraded springs and shocks/struts and new rear lower control arms would help.

Re: engine swap question

buying new ecm and harness for the new engine, so the Camaro will get the old vette stuff. how much do subframe connectors go for? and a set of bilsteins at all four corners?
