Engine Specs

hey all im in the process of recoditioning my 305 and i was just wondering if anyone could point me in the right direction as to the tourqe settings, clearences, piston ring gaps etc etc

the motor is staying stock internals on the bottem end pritty much except for cam,
so far we are just going to just the rings, main seals, bearings. and im pritty sure thats it dunno, dads the mechanic so yea :P lol


i havent got the owners manual or anything and cant find anything online so far ..

so if anyone can help out with this it will be greatly appricated
and part listings would be great to

im in Australia if that makes any diffrence

An Aussie Camaro.... I didn't know they made it down under!

Well, I would normally tell you to go buy a Chilton or Haynes manual, but they might be a bit hard to find down there.

If no one gets to you before this evening (after 23:00 GMT) then I'll look up some of that in my manual for you.

OK, got my Haynes manual here, but there is a crap load of torque specs and clearances - too many to list! If you can't get your hands on a manual easily, I could take some digipics of the pages and e-mail them to you. I don't have a scanner so it's the best I can do.

Private message me if you need the pages (or if you want to buy my 305 ).

lol i order a haynes manual gunna be a few weeks tho dunno about buying urs

be a bit costly to get over here :P
