engine management question ??

I have a couple questions for you all. I have a buddy that is in the process of building a monster small block. Well he was at the library and saw the guy (John, I believe) who switches the LT1/4 intakes for a standard SBC. Well he asked me to ask on here, If he has a 89 IROC with the 350 TPI and has it switched over to a LT4 intake with a set of Brodix Track 1 heads and a nasty solid roller cam, what can he do for engine management ?? I know that the stock 89 ECM would go bezerk with this kind of setup, and I know that the LTx ECM's are programmable but I don't really have any knowledge about aftermarket engine management systems or I would have answered this for him myself. If you guys could recommend what kind of system / systems are out there I would really appreciate it. He will probably check here to when he gets to the library again though, so even if you could give websites with the information, that would be helpful too.

Thanks a bunch !!!!

Oh this will also be a 383 when done............

Unless he changes everthing, the stock ECM will need a custom chip burned for it.

tpi/lt4

im not sure a the ports on an lt1, or lt4 intake manifold would even come close to lining up. as far as fuel man., i have a 1970 camaro, with a 327, muncie 4/spd and i just put a fully ported tpi intake with accel 30lb injectors, lt1 t-bodyand an accel fuel management. so far it hasnt given me any problems, you can use a laptop to tune it. they also make a system for lt1, runs around $900 from jegs.
