Engine Hesitation after stopping - No Codes
Hey everyone, today I took out my z28 for a short trip (7 miles) it was nice and warm out. It was an inner city drive and I hit a few lights. I noticed a bit of a hesitation while I was driving. I came to a light and stopped and when it turned green I accelerated normally and the car took a second to go forward (hesitation) and then it jumped forward as if the fuel had finally got to its destination. It felt like the car was about to shut off but didn't.
I just looked at my book and things it mentioned as a possible cause were:
-Oxygen Sensor
-Fuel Filter (20k on current one)
-Spark Plugs & Wires (bosch platinum plugs & Wires 20k)
-Distributor (already new)
-Vac Line Leak
-EGR
-TPS
-Map Sensor
I am going to take a look at my plugs tomorrow see if there is fouling. But I was wondering if anyone out there can, for example, point out exactly what the symptoms of bad sensors such as the Oxygen, TPS and or EGR (from there experience). I don't want to go changing all these sensors if possible.
Or also if anyone knows easy sure ways to test if a particular sensor is the culprit.

Thanks for the reply 89_Irocz,
Well today I changed the fuel filter. It had been 12k since I did that last. My hand still wreaks of gasoline. I also pulled out 2 of my spark plugs. Bosch Platinums that I installed in 2003 and have about 20k miles on them. The gap has opened up from .035 to .037 so I don't know if thats going to cause that hesitation. So tomorrow I am going to change all the plugs again (20 bucks so its not bad + my labor). I will let everyone know how it goes.
Damn I wish the car would just light up a code and tell me what the problem is...
