Exclamation emissions

I have recently moved to california. I need to get my car up to federal emission standards (at least). I dont have a lot of money, or a lot of time to do this in. I was wondering if anyone could advise me on what the cheapest and quickest way to do it would be. I was thinking about going to a CFI system, but everyone says no. So, I need help.

I just moved here and I WAS gonna bring my Z from Missouri, but I didn't. Aslong as you have all the emmissions hookups on your headers/manifolds and you have the stock cat(s) on the y-pipe, you should pass. Hope it helps...
