Electric hatch motor???

I just emailed GMpartsdirect.com and they told me that part was discontinued in 2002. Where else can I get a genuine gm piece?

I have one on my parts car if your interested. It works, but I sure don't need it for anything.

Make and offer and PM me if you want to buy it.

I haven't seen any place that sells brand new GM ones, but I have seen rebuilt stock ones:

Re: Electric hatch motor???

Thanks for the replies. I don't really know what is wrong with it. The motor sounds like it is working but it won't pull it down. Like the gears are busted. I may have to disassemble it to see what the deal is.

Re: Electric hatch motor???

I just went ahead and converted mine to a manual hatch by welding it all together.

Re: Electric hatch motor???

I took it apart today and all it is, is the plastic gear that drives the mechanism up and down.

Replacement from Top Down Solutions is 7 bucks. Yay!
