We found some electric fans off a 3rd gen to use on my dad's truck. The problem is that one of the motors is not working right. Anyone have a part number for a replacement fan motor that will work at GM Parts Direct?

So you found one thats dual fans? if this is true then only one should turn on until the A/C comes on.

 

Actually, they will both turn on if the car gets too hot or if the AC is turned on. That's not the problem. We hooked each fan up to a power source and while they both turn, one doesn't turn as fast as it should, and it makes strange noises so we would like to replace both motors just to be certain.
