ok...dont know if this is the right place to post this nut here it goes.i need to replace the EGR valve.i ordered one.but when it got here it had a base that looked like the one from my tpi manifold.this car is carburated.unless im missing something,i thought the ones for carbs had triangle bases.i took a look at another one at a different shop and it had the same base as the one i just returned at auto zone.this is really confusing.btw,this is for my nova not my camaro.its smog time.

 

Does the intake manifold have provisions for an EGR valve? Many aftermarket intakes dont.

 

the new one i just put on does.it used to be on my camaro,the old one i replaced didn't.i also grabbed the egr from the camaro.too bad i just remembered i need a spacer to get it to work with the carb.
