ECM Conector

Has anyone had problem before with the yellow plug on the ECM. I've been inside it a couple times swaping out chips, and lately the car has been going crazy every one in a while. I narrowed the problem down to if you push slightly on the yellow conector towards the top (side the chips on) it drops into limp home mode, losing speed-o, and the check engine lite coming on. Should I try to open itup?

Since you've had the ECM unhooked and reconnected a good bit recently, it's probably just a loose/bent terminal in the harness connector. You can get a terminal release tool from any parts store for like $4-5 that will let you remove and straighten any bent terminals. Do them one at a time so you don't mix them up....that would be bad. Start with the VSS wire since that one would cause all the problems you describe (pink wire with a black stripe IIRC.)
