Dyno Tuneing 2 completed

Welp.. we started 252.9 and 376.4

Dyno Tuneing 1 put us at 261 and 385
the 385 was a spike though..

(all rear wheel hp #'s)

Dyno Tuning 2

We ended up at 10 degree's base timeing, 45 fuel pressure, ran open y-pipe to get a better a/f ratio.

280.9rwhp and 386.9 rwtq

figureing 20% drivetrain loss:

351 hp & 483 tq

I got better #'s from a SuperChip for a stock l98 than Ed Wright Custom chip.. and the idleing and response was a lot better too.

Ed's chip best #'s were 278rwhp and 379rwtq with idle issues and a hesitation around 3500rpm's. Going back to Ed tomorrow to see what we can do..

Dyno Tuneing 3 to come.. looking to get that 300rwtq and 400rwtq mark!

I am curious. How did Ed do a custom chip? Did he take readings with the car on a dyno or on he street? Mine took several burns to get it right on.

He just made one and got it to me. Didn't touch the car yet. It wasn't done being put together for one thing.
