I have a 87 camaro that was v6 with a 700r4. Im droping in a v8 and th350 and im going to get the stock driveshaft made to fit. Does anyone know the total lenght or how much has to be cut off or added on to my stock driveshaft? I dont want to have to wait on the driveshaft.

 

YOu need the long tail shaft...to make your stock shaft fit.....

and buy the conversion kit to use the stock torque arm....

The easiest way is to find an automatic 82/83 thirdgen in the junkyard with a 3 speed 200c, it will have the exact driveshaft you will need to run a short tailshaft th350 (which are easier to come by).
