door hinge replacement
my passanger side door is really starting to sag and im thinking about ordering a replacement hinge. i figured id come on here and see if i could get any input from anyone who has done this before. i was told this job is a PITA! do you have to realign the door after, and how long does it usually take? is it worth getting an entire hinge for like $100 or is it possible to just replace the bushings? thanks in advance for any help!

You need to find out if its the lower hinge or the upper hinges that are the culprit. Usually is just the lower hinge. If you find out its the lower hinge, you can get a door hinge pin and bushing kit from any GM dealer (recommended) or at any parts store for under $7. An upper hinge repair is more expensive and time consuming. Find out which hinge is the culprit and post back.

i inspected the pins and bushings on both the upper and lower hinges and neither show any unusual wear. the door sags about 1/4" and if you dont slam it, it will not shut. any ideas?

With the door fully open: Attempt to lift the door from the very rear. If you feel play in the door, inspect the hinges while lifting the door. Or if you get a pop or clunk from the door just past halfway open, it's probably the lower hinge.
BTW - the hinges are WELDED to the doors, so don't buy the whole hinge
