dart pro1's in place of edelbrock rpm heads?

I have a 91 camaro with a 383,10.5.1 compression, extreme energy 294/306 519/523 with 1.6 rockers, performer rpm air gap intake, holley 750 dp,out of the box performer rpm heads, hooker super comp 1 3/4 headers. currently the car has went a best of 11.80 at 115 mph pulling a 1.64 60 ft. on motor with a 26in m/t. Now i have the oppertunity to buy a set of dart pro1's with a 200cc intake port 64cc cambers they flow 264cfm at .500" intake and 180cfm at .600" exhaust.
Will these heads help or hurt my current 1/4 mile times?

The rpm heads flow 233cfm at .500" intake and 170cfm at .500" exhaust.
Any suggestions would be helpful.......thanks.

No question about it. The Dart heads are light years better for you motor than the Edelbrocks. You should pick up some decent horsepower. Be sure to cc the Dart heads combustion chamber to maintain the compression ratio you want. They do vary as with most heads. They will help your quarter mile times.

I am wanting to go ahead and get the darts, i just don't want to hurt my low end power and torque. The edelbrocks make great power down low with their 170cc intake ports.the reason i want to get the darts is it just seems like my car just kind of falls flat at about 5800 rpms to 6500, don't feel like it pulls all the way through the power band. I am thinking that the intake ports on the edelbrocks are kind of restictive for that rpm and my cam size.

I have the Dart Pro One 200cc heads on my car. I'm running 10.7:1 compression and an XFI268 cam. I have plenty of torque down low as there is no problem smoking the tires big time.

Another thing is i am thinking of ditching the rpm air gap intake in place of the victor jr. The intake ports on the vics will better match the dart heads.

Go for it...you may drop a little power down low but not too much

I wouldn't hesitate to run 200's on a 383, I'm running 195's on a 350 with a stock converter and it has plenty of low end.

Yes i think i will get the pro 1's, don't think it will hurt the low end that much, will probably gain it up top, also thinking of going roller on the cam shaft while i am going to have her torn apart anyways.
