cylinder head opinion

as ive mentioned before im building a 383 for my 92 vert. looking at differet heads and i really want a set of AFR or Trickflow but im doing a budget build to a point and those are really expensive. found these on ebay and was wanting some opinions. heres the link to the heads. thanks guys

i personally have never heard of procomp heads but maybe someone here has.

I've never heard of them, and I dont see any flow specs on the heads either. But they do have a lot of positive feedback.

Never heard of them. There are a lot of Chinese made performance parts flooding the market lately, and they're crap. I know you're trying to do this on a budget, but AFR new 195cc heads are outstanding. I've seen them flowed next to several other known quality heads - they're really, really good. If you cannot afford that kind of head, why no go with a Sportsman II head? The flow numbers aren't that great, but they never fail to make good power.

Would Vortecs be out of the question?? they fit your cheap need and are pretty decent.

pro comps are junk. not worth the money you save at all.

i have used them and they are good for budget builds. i would use them before vortecs because you can use the old school parts. i think they are made in australia. i would not plan on 700hp but watch the rocker geometry when you assemble.
