I have not drove my car for the past 3 years and I finally drove it the other day and I have a huge miss @ aprox 5500, then it continues to drive OK till it hits 6000rpms and it misses again. It's a stumble almost as if It has a rev limiter. Never happend before? I have a crane hi6s box and nothing I do seems to make it right? WTH?? What would cause my Z to cut out at high rpms.

 

Need more info on the car. Usually year, model (RS/Z28), engine, trans....before recommending anything. BTW, thats a long time to wait to drive it??????

 

Turned out to be the chip bin. I changed the bin and the problem is gone. Thanks for the reply
