Corvette Rims fitting 1991 RS

Hi Ya'll
Im a newbie around here and before I ask my question i'll introduce myself.Im 18 and have a 1991 Camaro RS with a hypertech chip, flowmaster exhaust and open element air filter.Along with 16" irocs and 5% tint all around.

Now my question,I am able to get a hell of a deal on some 2002 Corvette rims. They are 18s for the back and 17s up front. My question is if they will fit my ride or would i have to buy some sort of adapters. Also would they rub when turning? Also does anyone have any pictures of corvette rims on their 3rd generation? All and any info is greatly appreciated.

I think you can get the adapters from thunder racing.

i "had" z06 18's on mine you can check my page for pictures....

look over at thirdgen.org as you will find numberous answers if you use the search option. you can get adapters from alot of different places.

i picked up mine through skulte performance www.skulte.com and i still had to machine them to really tuck the wheels. a typical 17/18 combo which is normally a 8.5 front rim and 9.5 rear rim will not really have any issues unless you plan to really drop your car in which case the rears will be fine up to 10" and you really shouldn't go wider then 8" in the front. i myself am against the staggered sizes on the thirdgen because of how noticeable it is especially when the car is rolling, but i also understand when you get a deal you get a deal.

are the rims your looking at true gm oem vette wheels or are they knockoffs? i have a set of adapters for 250 depending on what the offset of your rims are.

good luck.

As everyone else said: Spacers. New they run around $300 though. Good luck and welcome to the board!

not that it matters but there is a huge difference between spacers and adapters.

you need adapters. spacers will run you roughly $50 a set and won't work for you needs.
