Question coolant

i drained my radiator but i also want to drain my engine block but can not find the plug

pass, just is above the oil pan, between the mount and starter, drivers side is the other side of the block, same location

Question

i think i found the one on the drivers side but i cant see the one on the pass side do i need to remove the start to see it. could someone take a pic of the spots just to make sure i am looking in the right place??

The knock sensor goes in the drain hole on the pass. side, and the driver's side drain is in the same location on the other side. It's between the middle cylinders, about 3/4" above the oilpan rail.

Why all this trouble? Why not flush it with water and add radiator flush? Run it for a couple hundred miles and flush again and add coolant? Why do you have to go thru the trouble to drain it?
